Datebook: November 21 - Cram the Cruiser, Warm Jacket Donation, A House Divided

The "Cram the Cruiser" food drive starts today and runs through Dec. 16 at Kentucky State Police Post 1. A KSP cruiser is parked at the entrance of KSP Post 1 on Highway 45 in Graves County. Drop off nonperishable food items in the cruiser, and the KSP takes the items to local food pantries for distribution to families in the area. 

The Graves County Middle and High schools' youth services centers seek donations of warm jackets and coats, especially in sizes suitable for middle and high school students. To donate, bring coats to the middle or high school and ask for the Youth Services Center. For more information, call (270) 674-4920.

Madisonville Community College, together with Kentucky Chautauqua, presents “Mary Todd Lincoln: A House Divided” Tuesday morning at 11 at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts. The performance is free and open to the public. For more information, visit kyhumanities.org.
