Datebook: November 20 - Empty Bowls, Ruth Baggett Ceramics, Project Hope Bazaar

The University of Tennessee at Martin hosts its 12th Annual Empty Bowls event tomorrow from 11 to 1 at the Fine Arts Building Little Theatre. Guests receive a handmade bowl and soup lunch in exchange for donations. Proceeds support the hunger relief efforts of We Care Inc. 

Work by ceramicist Craig Rhodes is on display at the Ruth Baggett Gallery. The opening reception is tonight from 5 to 8, and the show remains on display through December 24th. The gallery is located at 1025 Jefferson in Paducah and is open Monday through Friday from 4 to 7, Saturday from 10 to 5, and Sunday from 1 to 5.

Project Hope No-Kill Animal Shelter hosts a Christmas Bazaar and Pet Photos with Santa tomorrow from 10 to 4 at the Robert Cherry Civic Center in Paducah. The bazaar includes chili, bake sale items, booths, and Christmas gifts. Project Hope is a no-kill shelter helping homeless animals in the Southern Illinois/Western Kentucky area.
