Datebook: November 11 - Memorial Ham Breakfast, Hematite Trail Open House, Rotary Christmas Parade

The Rotary Club of Murray hosts the Tom Rushing Memorial Ham Breakfast Saturday morning from 7 to 10 at the Murray Middle School Cafeteria. The menu includes country ham, sausage, biscuits, gravy, fruit, pastries, coffee, milk, and orange juice. Tickets are available at the door. Proceeds benefit local Rotary Club community projects.

Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area hosts an Open House this Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 at the Nature Station picnic pavilion. LBL has been researching various options to rehabilitate Hematite Trail, and the Open House is designed to update the public on its findings. In case of bad weather, the open house will be held in the Nature Station theatre.

Applications are now available to participate in the “Rotary ‘Light Up Murray’ Christmas Parade presented by Murray Electric System.” There is no cost to be in the parade. Applications must be turned in by November 23 and are available at murraychristmasparade.com.
