Today we remember Kentucky native Rosemary Clooney, born on this day in 1928. She rose to stardom with "Come On-a My House" and had several number-one hits including "Half as Much," "Hey There," "This Ole House," and "Mambo Italiano" (#1 in the UK). She was also the aunt of George Clooney.

An exhibit at Hopkinsville Community College features the work of local artist Barbara Gardner and her students. The exhibit is on display 8-5 Monday through Friday through the end of the month at the HCC Auditorium Building Gallery.
