Datebook: May 18 - Vintage & Collectible Sale, Blood Drive, Cardboard Boat Regatta

Angels Attic at 972 Chestnut Street in Murray presents a vintage and collectible sale from 5 to 7 tonight. Included are over 40 assembled balsa wood planes, vintage wood shaft golf clubs, collector trading cards, vintage sheet music, Little Golden books, over 500 comic books, metal tractors and more.

The American Red Cross holds a blood drive this Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, located at 1620 West Main Street. Donors must be at least 17, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. More information at redcrossblood.org

Friday is the deadline to enter the Discovery Park of America’s 2nd Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta, to be held on Saturday, May 30. Prizes to be awarded include first, second, and third place; a team spirit award; a “Titanic Award” for the most spectacular sinking; and “The Van Gogh Award” for the most creative boat.
