Datebook: May 14 - Seinfeld Series Finale 15 Years Ago

NBC sitcom Seinfeld aired its last episode on this day in 1998, reaching an audience of 76 million viewers, making it the third most viewed finale. During the show, TV Land just posted a still that read "Gone watching Seinfeld - Back in 60 minutes."

Murray State University offers a four-week workshop for adults with hearing loss. Audiologist Susan Brown leads the workshop, which helps participants with hearing loss and the person with whom they communicate the most learn techniques for improving difficult listening situations. Classes meet Tuesday mornings in June. To register, call 809-6821.

 
The 7th annual Evening of Performance, sponsored by the Paducah Human Rights Commission, is Friday night at the Carson Center in Paducah. Musicians, singers, dancers, poets, and other entertainers from the region present a free performance from 7 to 9. The public is invited to attend.
 
A Relay For Life trivia night is set for Friday, May 31, at Graves County Middle School. Teams of six players compete for three top prizes. Light refreshments are provided. The entry fee is $60 per team and mulligans are $5 each. To register, call 674-1553.
