Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park holds an Easter egg hunt this Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the lodge. Pictures with the Easter Bunny are at 1:30, and the Easter buffet is served from noon to 8. Events are held rain or shine.
West Kentucky Community and Technical College offers free tax preparation workshops using the college’s self-assist website, myfreetaxes.com. The workshops are open to the public and are held Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 14 from 1-3 p.m. in the Emerging Technology Center, Room 112. The second annual Mutt Strut is set for Saturday, April 11, at 15th and Olive streets in Murray. The event includes a 5K run and 1 mile dog walk. Registration forms are available at the Humane Society office at the Weaks Community Center.
