Datebook: March 26 - Civil War Exhibit, Friends of Kentucky Libraries, Diary of Anne Frank

The exhibit titled “Common People in Uncommon Times” continues through tomorrow at the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center. The exhibit celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. The center’s open Tuesday through Friday from 10 to 4 and Saturday from 10 to 2. Admission is free. 

The Friends of the Calloway County Public Library hold an informational meeting this Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the library’s Community Room. The guest speaker is Marylynn Collins, president of the Friends of Kentucky Libraries. Those attending can learn more about the library and its ongoing programs or volunteer to work on one of the Friends' committees.

Playhouse in the Park presents “Diary of Anne Frank” this Friday and Saturday night at 7 and Sunday at 2:30. The drama tells the story of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic. For ticket information, visit playhouseinthepark.net.
