Datebook: March 25 - Mutt Strut, Kentucy Women in Traditional Music, Clay Botanicals

The second annual Mutt Strut is set for Saturday, April 11, at 15th and Olive streets in Murray. The event includes a 5K run and 1 mile dog walk to benefit the Humane Society of Calloway County and the Murray State University Animal Health Technology/Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club. Pre-register through March 30, with forms available at the Humane Society office at the Weaks Community Center.

As part of the Evenings Upstairs program, the McCracken County Public Library hosts "Kentucky Women in Traditional Music," a discussion by John Harrod, tomorrow night at 7. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit mclib.net.

An exhibit titled Clay Botanicals remains on display through Saturday at The Yeiser Art Center. The exhibit features hand-created naturalistic flowers by Jimmy Nichols. The Yeiser is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 to 5, Friday and Saturday from 10 to 8, and Sunday from noon to 5.
