The Murray Art Guild’s sponsored exhibition Visual Evidence 2014 opens this Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Miller Conference Center. The competitive exhibition features the work of 26 artists, including figurative oil paintings, abstract watercolors, jewelry, photography, fibers, furniture, and sculpture. The exhibit runs through April 8th.
Registration is now open for the Mutt Strut, a 5K run and 1-mile dog walk to benefit the Humane Society of Calloway County. The event is set for Saturday, April 5, at 15th and Olive streets. The annual Leprechaun Hunt is set for Saturday at Noble Park in Paducah. Families compete in a St. Patrick’s Day-themed scavenger hunt through the park. Meet at Shelter 10 across from the pool for registration starting at 12:30, and the hunt starts at 1.
