Datebook: June 3 - Pennington Folk Festival, Cancer Survivors Day, Feed the Animals

The Pennington Folk Festival is this Friday and Saturday on the Butler Lawn in downtown Princeton. Hosted by the Princeton Art Guild, the two-day music festival is free to the public. Performers include Miranda Louise, the Alonzo Pennington Band, the Jeff Little Trio, David Holt, and festival namesake Eddie Pennington. Details at princetonartguild.org

Baptist Health Paducah honors National Cancer Survivors Day this Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 in the Heart Center auditorium. The event provides resources for cancer survivors and family members to enhance their quality of life as they cope with an illness. The afternoon includes art therapy, nutrition information, information provided by the American Cancer Society, and more.

The Nature Station at Land Between the Lakes hosts Feed the Animals Fridays this summer at 2 p.m. each week. Each Friday, help feed a different animal and learn how it survives in the wild. This week’s animal is the groundhog. Details at landbetweenthelakes.us.
