Datebook: June 10 - Save the Massac, Arts Day at the Market, Water Quality Survey

Comedian Scott Long performs this Saturday night at 7:30 at the Baymont Theatre in Metropolis. Long shares his story of how quickly life changed when he became the father of twins at 40. The event is held in conjunction with a Save the Massac Benefit Auction and helps raise funds for the preservation of the Massac Theatre. More information at (618) 524-2714. 

The Hopkinsville Downtown Farmers Market hosts Arts Day at the Market this Saturday from 9 to noon. Art Guild members demonstrate their artistic talents in Founders Square and also display work to sell. The Hopkinsville Downtown Farmers Market is held each Wednesday and Saturday from 7 to 1.

The Four Rivers Watershed Watch Project seeks volunteers to help with stream quality surveys. Free training workshops are available this Saturday at Murray State University’s Hancock Biological Station. For more information, call (270) 559-4422.
