Datebook: July 30 - Art Through The Lens, Wickliffe Pottery Class, History Road Trip

The annual international juried photography exhibit “Art Through the Lens” remains on display through Saturday at the Yeiser Art Center in Paducah. Admission to the exhibit is free. The Yeiser is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 to 5 and Sunday from noon to 4. For more information, visit theyeiser.org

Wickliffe Mounds State Historic Site hosts a pottery class with sessions this Saturday from 10 to noon and 1:30 to 3:30. Hear a presentation on Mississippian pottery techniques and create a bowl to take home. The program fee includes a tour of the museum, mounds, site, and trails. Today’s the last day to register for Saturday’s history road trip with the Calloway County Public Library. The motor coach tour visits the Abraham Lincoln birthplace in Hodgenville and the Lincoln Museum.
