Datebook: July 28 - Tennessee 1812, Needline Food Program, Moonlight Bike Ride

Starting Friday, the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center hosts an exhibit titled “Becoming the Volunteer State: Tennessee in the War of 1812.” The Tennessee State Museum Traveling Exhibit is on display at the Heritage Center through September 12. There’s a grand opening reception this Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4. Admission is free.

Need Line is accepting applications for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program, which supplements the nutritional needs of persons ages 60 or older. Apply in person at Need Line Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (270) 753-6333.

The second annual Moonlight Bike Ride benefiting the Paducah Cooperative Ministry is this Saturday night. Registration, check-in, and tailgating starts at 8 p.m., and the family-friendly ten-mile glow ride starts at 10 p.m. For more information see events at paducahcoopministry.org.
