Datebook: July 22 - Ohio River Presentation, Murray Community Garden, Daniel Boone Portrayal

As part of its Evenings Upstairs series, the McCracken County Public Library hosts "The Ohio River: Past, Present, and Future" tomorrow night at 7. The presentation is given by Chuck Parrish, retired historian of the Louisville District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The program is free and open to all. Murray's Community Garden holds a meeting Saturday morning at 10 at the Murray Art Guild. The meeting includes a discussion about where the garden is headed, including fundraising, delivery of produce to Need Line, and more. All interested community members are invited to attend. Kentucky Chautauqua presents a historically accurate portrayal of Daniel Boone in the KY Dam Village Convention Center Saturday night at 7:30. The program is free and open to the public.
