There are school supply collection events this Saturday from 10 to 3 in Paducah. Donations can be made at the Hinkleville Wal-Mart, the South Side Wal-Mart, and K-Mart. Items needed include paper, crayons, pencils, rulers, calculators, 3-inch and 5-inch binders, and other everyday school supplies. To volunteer for the event, call (270) 442-1691.
The Yeiser Art Center offers free admission to families this Saturday from 10 to 4. Kids can participate in crafts, including sun prints, balloon bracelets, and more. There are also guided tours of the international "Art Through the Lens" exhibit. Details at theyeiser.org.
