Datebook: January 30 - Community Bookshelf, Love Photography, Wildlife Rehabilitation

The Christian County Literacy Council seeks donations of new or gently-read children's books for the Community Bookshelf Program. Contributions are tax-deductible. To arrange for delivery or collection, contact the Literacy Council at (270) 962-7114. 

The Hopkinsville Art Guild is accepting entries for a photography contest on the theme of "What Love Means to Me." Entries can be mailed or delivered to the Guild Gallery from February 9th through the 11th. The winning photograph is displayed in the gallery through the month of February. There’s a Basic Wildlife Rehabilitation class in Murray on Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8, at the Carman Animal Health Building on College Farm Road. The class includes both lab and lecture portions, covering topics such as basic anatomy and physiology, thermo-regulation, limb immobilization, and more. For more information, call (866) 871-1869.
