Dr. Stephanie Rea presents "Winter Spirits: Flute Music and Poetry for the Season" this Sunday afternoon at 2 in the Performing Arts Hall, located on the second floor of the Doyle Fine Arts Building. The recital features flute music by Schumann, Hoover, Faure, and others, as well as readings of winter-themed poetry. The event is free and open to the public.
The Governor's Garden Initiative encourages community organizations in Kentucky to cultivate their own gardens to educate people about the benefits of gardening.
