Adam Day gives a poetry reading this Thursday night at 7:30 at the Clara M. Eagle Gallery, located on the sixth floor of the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building of Murray State University. Day is the author of Model of a City in Civil War and is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships.
Austin Peay State University holds its Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service this Friday at the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center. Volunteers package meals for the nonprofit Christian organization Feed My Starving Children, which ships specially-formulated meals to malnourished children and adults in a third-world country.
