Warming centers are available in McCracken County for individuals and families without shelter. The Paducah Community Kitchen is open 24/7 when temperatures are below 20 degrees, or from 5:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. when temperatures are 40 degrees or lower. The Paducah Community Kitchen is located at 1237 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Dinner and breakfast are available.
The West Kentucky Highland Society holds the annual Robert Burns Supper this Saturday evening at the Murray Woman’s Clubhouse. The event celebrates the Scottish poet. Doors open at 6, and the dinner starts at 6:30. Reservations available on the organization’s website.
The Teen Spirit Exhibition 2016 is currently on display at the Yeiser Art Center through January 30. The exhibit features 151 pieces by area high school artists selected by juror Cody Arnall. The venue is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
