Datebook: January 14 - Winter Health Fair, Tonight's Sky Live, Paducah Blood Drive

The Winter Wonderland Health Fair for Senior Adults is tomorrow morning from 8:30 to 11:30 at the Robert Cherry Civic Center in Paducah. The event features twenty different free health screenings plus door prizes, refreshments, booths, and more. It’s sponsored by the Paducah Senior Center, Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, and Senior Medicare Patrol. 

The Golden Pond Planetarium at Land Between the Lakes presents a show titled “Tonight’s Sky – Live!” tomorrow afternoon at 2. The planetarium interpreter points out the current positions of planets, the sun, stars, constellations, and galaxies as seen from Land Between the Lakes during the 40-minute show. Tickets available at the door.

The American Red Cross holds a blood drive tomorrow from 11:30 to 4:30 at Rosary Chapel Catholic Church in Paducah. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 lbs., and be in general good health. Appointments available at redcrossblood.org.
