Datebook: February 26 - Visual Evidence, Doggie Day Spa, Formal Dress Sale

March 5th is the deadline to enter artwork in the Murray Art Guild’s upcoming show titled “Visual Evidence.” The juror is Shannon Duffy, instructor of art in the Murray State University Department of Art and Design. For more information and to enter, visit murrayartguild.org

The Humane Society of Calloway County offers a Doggie Day Spa this Saturday from 9 to 2 at the Carman Animal Health Pavilion. Murray State University Animal Health Technology and Pre-Vet students give dog baths, ear cleanings, and nail trims. Microchipping and custom pet ID tags also available. Proof of rabies vaccination is required. Details at forthepets.org.

Murray High School holds its annual area-wide Formal Dress Consignment Sale this Saturday from 10 to 2 at the school. Anyone wishing to sell a gently used formal dress can enter it in the sale for a small fee, with proceeds benefiting Project Graduation. Drop-off is Friday from 9 to 6 and Saturday from 8 to 9:30.
