There’s a signup day for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library tomorrow afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 at Toyota of Murray. Any family living in Calloway County with a child up to five years old is eligible to enroll. Each child within the age range receives one free book a month until his or her fifth birthday. The signup event includes a story time and refreshments.
There’s a Community Messiah Sing-Along this Thursday night at 7 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Martin, Tennessee. Singers and audience members are invited to attend. Dr. Mark Simmons directs the ensemble, and the accompanist is Dr. Elaine Harriss. Scores are available.
The WATCH Center at 702 Main Street in Murray needs aluminum cans for an ongoing fundraising project. Drop off cans any time by driving through the parking lot on the west side of the center and placing them in the cotton wagon.
