Free Christmas tree permits are still available at Land Between the Lakes today and tomorrow. A permit allows a family to cut one cedar tree. The Hopkinsville Art Guild Gallery Christmas Bazaar continues through tomorrow from 2 to 6 each day. The bazaar features the original artwork of 35 guild members who live in Western Kentucky and Northern Tennessee, including paintings, photographs, wood turnings, jewelry, pottery, and more.
The Ballard County Wheels and Wings bike ride, scheduled for May 24th, seeks volunteers to staff the rest stops. A $150 cash prize goes to the group that hosts the best rest stop, including decorations, entertainment, and extra food items. To volunteer, interested groups can call 270-665-8400, extension 2011.
