Datebook: December 22 - Groundhog Day Dilemma, Boat & Outdoor Show, Angel's Attic Donations

Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to a “Walk on the Wild Side” nature program at the John James Audubon State Park in Henderson on Friday, January 8, at 10 a.m. The series of hour-long interactive programs helps kids discover nature through games, crafts, live animal visits, hikes, and songs. This program is titled “Groundhog Day Dilemma.” Registration is required. 

The 32nd Annual West Kentucky Boat & Outdoor Show is set for January 15th through the 17th at the CFSB Center on the campus of Murray State University. The annual event includes displays of products and services for outdoor enthusiasts, including boats, fishing supplies, dock builders, taxidermy, and more.

Angel's Attic Thrift Shop seeks donations of clothing, furniture, appliances, household items, and toys. Community donations help Angels Attic Thrift Store fund the Angels Community Clinic, the Gentry House for homeless families, and other local agencies. Bring donations to 972 Chestnut Street Monday through Saturday from 8 to 5.
