Douglas Van Fleet directs a musical presentation of Handel's "Messiah" Saturday night at 7. Rehearsals are tomorrow and Friday at 7 in the Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church sanctuary. There is no admission charge for the performance, and the audience is invited to sing along with the choir and the orchestra on all the choruses.
Land Between the Lakes is offering free cedar Christmas trees. Permits, maps, and cutting guidelines are available through December 24th Monday through Friday from 8 to 4:30 at the LBL Administrative Office and on the weekends from 9 to 5 at the Golden Pond Visitor Center.
The Alhambra Theatre in Hopkinsville features the classic Christmas film "It's a Wonderful Life" this Saturday at 2 and 6 and Sunday afternoon at 2. Tickets are $5 at the door. Popcorn and drinks are available for purchase.
