Datebook: August 31 - LBL Homecoming, Color For a Cause, Annual Fish Fry

The annual Homecoming for former residents of the Stewart County portion of what is now known as Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area is this Sunday at the Bison Range Picnic Area. The picnic area is located south of The Homeplace on the Trace. All former residents, relatives, and friends are invited. Bring food, beverages, lawn chairs, and any other picnic or recreation items. 

The Murray Business Lions host "Color For a Cause," a paint run/walk benefiting the Need Line Backpack program. The event is set for Saturday, September 12, at 8 a.m. in Chestnut Park. The course is a one-mile loop with five color stations, and runners can complete the loop as many times as they choose. To register, visit murraylionsevents.com.

The Marshall County Exceptional Center holds its Annual Fish Fry this Sunday from 11 to 3 at the Mike Miller County Park soccer field. For more information, call (270) 527-1327.
