Datebook: August 28 - Free Yoga Class, Tymeless Hearts Carnival, Backpack Food Program

The Yeiser Art Center in Paducah offers a free yoga class in the gallery with instructor Phillip Bibb tonight. Yoga for all levels is from 5 to 6, and yoga for those already practicing is from 7 to 8:30. The class is limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-serve basis. More at theyeiser.org

The Tymeless Hearts Carnival is tomorrow from 11 to 5 at Chestnut Park in Murray. The event is free, with donations helping families of children with congenital heart defects. Activities include bounce houses, games, pony rides, a petting zoo, and more. Live entertainment starts at 11 and an auction starts at 11:30.

The Need Line Children's Weekend Backpack Food Program seeks donations of fruit cups, cereal boxes, juice boxes, cereal bars, granola bars, cheese crackers, shelf stable milk, and small bags of pretzels. All items need to be individual serving size. Drop off donations at 509 N. 8th St.
