Datebook: August 11 - Film Burners' Photos, Pet Food Drive, Kentucky Crafted Applications

The Calloway County Film Burners' Photo Expo is on display through Saturday at the Robert O. Miller Center in Murray. The photography exhibit can be viewed at the center during its regular hours Monday through Friday. A "Friends and Family Reception" is Saturday from 3 to 5. A pet food drive benefiting the Hopkins County Humane Society continues this week. Drop off unopened bags or cans of cat or dog food at the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office any day this week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Kentucky Arts Council is accepting applications for the Kentucky Crafted Program, an adjudicated marketing assistance program for visual and craft artists. It provides assistance to Kentucky artists through marketing and promotional opportunities and arts business training. The application deadline is August 17.
