Datebook: April 6 - Quilt Show, Brown Bag Lunch, School for the Blind Supper

The 26th Annual Quilt Show opens tomorrow at the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County. The exhibit showcases both old and new masterpieces from area quilters. Hands-on activities offer visitors the chance to add a few stitches to a community quilt project. The exhibit runs through April 25. Details at museumsofhopkinsville.org

The Hopkinsville Art Guild offers a Brown Bag Lunch Series event with Master Gardener Amanda Sauermann titled "Vegetables, Herbs, and Flowers in a Box." The free presentation is this Wednesday at noon. Learn what plants work well together in containers of various sizes. For more information, call (270) 962-7307.

The Kentucky School for the Blind holds a Soup Supper for Parents on April 16 at 6 p.m. at the City Park Clubhouse in Madisonville. Learn about services available from agencies in the region. A free soup and salad meal is provided. To register, call (270) 994-3395.
