Datebook: April 30 - Eve Arden's Birthday

Active Minds, an MSU student organization dedicated to changing the conversation about mental health, holds its second annual Stress OUT event Friday night from 7 to 10 in the Curris Center Small Ballroom. The event includes stress-relieving activities such as crafts, live music, a relaxation session, and a Tai Chi lesson. Snacks are provided. 

The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County host the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society’s 2013 Challenge Quilts beginning tomorrow. More than thirty pieces interpret the theme “Remember…A New Box of Crayons.” The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 to 5 and Saturday from 10 to 3.

The 4th Annual Lourdes Iron Mom Half-Marathon is Saturday, May 10. The coed event offers half-marathon and half-marathon relay options for 2 and 4 person teams. The race starts at 6:30 a.m. at the downtown floodwall murals near the Ohio River. For details visit paducahironmom.com.
