Datebook: April 30 - Blood Drive, Food for Thought, AARP Safe Driving Clas

The American Red Cross blood drive at the Murray State University Curris Center continues tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health. The National Quilt Museum presents "Food for Thought," a display of work by the Studio Art Quilt Associates, on exhibit through July 8. The exhibit consists of 34 quilts balancing the beauty of individual food items and the importance of food in other aspects of life. For more information, visit quiltmuseum.org.

Murray-Calloway County Hospital offers an AARP Safe Driving Class next Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Center for Health & Wellness. Pre-registration is required. To register or for more information about cost and age requirements, call (270) 762-1348.
