Datebook 5/20: Homeplace Children's Day, Spokes for Strokes, Summer Piano Camp

The Homeplace at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area offers Children's Day tomorrow afternoon from 1 to 4. Kids are invited to play the old-time way with 1850s-style games, homemade toys, and more. Find event details on the Land Between the Lakes website

Baptist Health Paducah hosts its fifth Spokes for Strokes bike tour on Saturday, June 4, to raise stroke awareness and funds for life-saving technologies and expanded stroke care services. Registration starts at 7 at the Baptist Health Imaging Center and the tour starts at 8. 10-, 35-, or 65-mile rides are available.

The University of Tennessee at Martin holds a summer piano camp for students who have completed 7th through 12th grades. The commuter camp is held June 13 through 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Students participate in private lessons, an introduction to the organ and harpsichord, theory classes, ensembles, sightreading sessions, and performances. More information on the UTM website.
