The Jackson Purchase Dance Company celebrates its 25th anniversary season with the Silver Anniversary Dancefest tomorrow afternoon at 2 at Murray State University’s Lovett Auditorium. The performance features dancers from the past 25 years, and there’s a display of memorabilia and a gala reception for the entire audience following the event.
Fort Donelson National Battlefield celebrates National Junior Ranger Day tomorrow with a variety of children’s activities. Kids can earn Junior Ranger badges by participating in shoreline cleanup, native butterfly garden planting, nature hikes, and history programs. Meet at 11 at the Fort Heiman pavilion.
The Murray State University Department of Music presents Mozart’s Requiem this Sunday afternoon at 3:30 in Lovett Auditorium. The ensemble is led by Dr. Bradley Almquist and includes the singers of the MSU Concert Choir, the MSU Women’s Chorus, the Racer Men’s Chorus, and the Town and Gown Chorale. Soloists are MSU voice faculty members. The concert is free and open to the public.
