Datebook 2/26: Made In America, Doggie Day Spa, Field Trip Grants

The Paducah Symphony Orchestra presents its “Made In America” concert this Sunday afternoon at 3 at Broadway United Methodist Church. The concert features American hymns and new works performed by the PSO Adult, Children’s, and Youth choruses as well as the Murray State University Concert Choir. Tickets available at the door. 

The Humane Society of Calloway County and Murray State Animal Health Technology students hold a Doggie Day Spa and Pet ID Event tomorrow from 9 to 2 at the Carman Animal Health building on College Farm Road. Services available include dog baths, ear cleanings, nail trims, microchipping, DNA testing, and custom pet ID tags. Proof of rabies vaccination is required.

Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area is accepting applications for Educational Field Trip Grants from public school districts within 100 miles. The grants help schools cover costs for transportation, facility admission fees, program costs, and dorm rental. The deadline to apply is April 30.
