Datebook 2/25: Paducah Trivia Night, Quad State Festival, Engineers Day

The Challenger Learning Center of Paducah holds a Trivia Night tomorrow at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. The format consists of ten rounds of ten questions, with prizes awarded to the top three teams. Light snacks and drinks provided. Doors open at 6:15, and trivia begins at 7. Contact the Challenger Learning Center to preregister. 

As part of the 69th Annual Quad State Senior High Band Festival, saxophonist Lynn Klock performs with the Murray State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble tomorrow night at 7 in Lovett Auditorium. The concert also features the MSU Jazz Orchestra. The concert is free and open to the public.

There’s an Engineers Day open house this Saturday from 9 to 3 at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. Events include an aluminum foil boat float, a bicycle generator demonstration, Rube Goldberg machines, a popsicle stick bridge contest, and more. The event is designed to build enthusiasm for STEM-related fields and careers among elementary, middle, and high school students.
