Datebook 2/23: Sacred Arts Series, Expungement Training, Duo Violin Recital

First United Methodist Church in Hopkinsville holds the first concert in its Main St. Sacred Arts Series tomorrow at noon. Dr. Diane Earle, classical pianist and professor of music at Kentucky Wesleyan, performs works by Chopin and Debussy. Admission is free.

The McCracken County Public Library hosts "Clean Slate," Kentucky's expungement training and clinic, this Thursday night at 6:30 in the library’s meeting room. Learn about the expungement process and hear an update on potential changes to the law. The event is free and open to the public, with no registration required. The Murray State University department of music hosts a guest artist duo recital featuring violinist Jimyung Kim and violist Yongjoo Ahn. The recital is tomorrow night at 6 in the Performing Arts Building and features works by Hoffmeister, Martinu, Spohr, and Harvorsen. The event is free and open to the public.
