Datebook 2/16 - Musical Recital, Blood Drive, Glass Menagerie

The Murray State University department of music presents a recital by the MSU voice faculty this Thursday evening at 6 in the Performing Arts Hall of the Old Fine Arts Building. The recital features musical theater selections such as "My Funny Valentine," "Send in the Clowns," "If Ever I Would Leave You," and others. 

The American Red Cross holds a blood drive this Thursday afternoon from 12:30 to 5:30 at First Presbyterian Church in Murray. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health.

The Murray State University Department of Theatre presents "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams. A mother and her two children live in poverty in St. Louis. When the world of illusion that makes life bearable collapses around them, the son must make a choice about his future and the future of his mother and sister. Showtimes are this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2:30.
