DA's Absence Won't Bring Work Down
By Angela Hatton
Clarksville, TN – Montgomery County District Attorney Dan Brollier says work has not fallen behind since District Attorney General John Carney Junior has been out of the office. Carney has been absent from his job for five weeks. His family recently announced the DA has been dealing with health issues. A release states doctors are continuing to diagnose and treat Carney's medical condition. Due to medical privacy no further information has been released. Brollier says assistant district attorneys from neighboring Robertson County have taken up some of the case load. Brollier expects Carney to return to his post after his recovery.
