Hopkinsville, KY – Mexico's Metalsa Corporation will soon own Dana Corporation's structural plants. The purchase includes Hopkinsville's
plant which produces mostly vehicle chassis and frames. It is one of ten structure plants around the world included in the agreement.
Metalsa (may-TAHL-suh) Vice President Guspavo (like Goose-pahvo) Andres (AHN-drays) tells the Kentucky New Era they
will find new clients and not layoff any employees in the transfer. A Dana press release says they will make one-hundred and fifty
million-dollars from the deal.
