Credit Bureau Systems to Expand Paducah Operations, Creating 50 Jobs

via prlog.org

A Paducah-based healthcare management firm is expanding operations and creating 50 new jobs. Credit Bureau Systems Inc. said Thursday they will begin construction of a 10,000 square-foot call center in Paducah’s Commerce Park.

The facility will bring total employment to 300.

CEO and President Mark Edwards said in a release that growth in ambulance related, physician and hospital billings have pushed operations in Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia to capacity. Edwards credited the city’s economic development incentives as part of the decision to expand Paducah operations.

Credit Bureau Systems will receive city and state payroll tax credits over five years in exchange for the $1.7 million investment. The facility is also being built to house 100 new employees over the next two years.

The company provides revenue cycle and accounts receivable management services to healthcare providers, hospitals and ambulance services.
