Murray, KY – The air in the Land Between the Lakes and to its south-east is a bit smoky today. The Calloway County Sheriff's Department confirms that due to windy conditions, smoke from the National Forest Service's controlled burns is circulating throughout the Calloway County area. LBL fire officials are coordinating the burns to clear off extra debris caused by January's ice storms.
