Computer Crash Closes Library

By Angela Hatton

Madisonville, KY – Residents in Madisonville are without a library after a computer crash shut down the Public Library. Director Lisa Wigley says the building has been closed since Sunday after the system's two hard drives crashed. Wigley isn't sure what caused the crash. Full-time employees have been working to install a new system and get the library back to full operation. Part-time employees have been asked to stay home until the library opens to the public. Patrons won't be charged for any overdue materials.
