Commentary: "The Art of Caregiving" and an Alzheimer's Support Group in Murray

Working with an Arts Access Grant titled "The Art of Caregiving" from the Kentucky Arts Council, Murray author Constance Alexander is coordinating collaborators across arts agencies and healthcare providers in a positive community conversation about patients and caregivers at the end of life. There's a public forum at the Calloway County Public Library at 710 Main Street in Murray, Thursday starting at 7 p.m. Alexander's commentary relates to these community activities focusing on a new support group in Murray.

Constance Alexander is the 2014 winner of the Governor's Award in the Arts for her work in media. She is currently artistic director of an Arts Access Grant from the Kentucky Arts Council, focused on the needs of the elderly and their caregivers of any age.

Join a public forum titled, "The Art of Caregiving" Thursday from 7 to 8:30 at the Calloway County Public Library featuring a panel of professionals dealing with legal issues, community resources for caregivers, hospice and end-of-life care, spiritual needs, Alzheimer's and dementia.
