Clarksville opens cooling stations

The City of Clarksville opens cooling stations today to aid residents during record high temperatures.
The Burt-Cobb Community Center at 1101 Franklin Street will be open during normal business hours, along with the Salvation Army located at 208 Kraft Street. The Clarksville Salvation Army is normally open only during the evenings, but will remain open during the day and throughout the weekend to help citizens keep cool
