Murray, KY – Seventeen year old John Patrick George has been sentenced to 20 years in prison in a Clarksville murder-for-hire case. George pleaded guilty to second degree murder Monday in Montgomery County Circuit Court. George admitted to receiving money and weapons from the Hart family to shoot 50-year-old Gilbert Hart in June 2009. Gilbert Hart's widow Frances was indicted in August and charged with soliciting George to kill her husband. Her trial is set for September 6th. George will be lodged in Montgomery County Jail until he turns 18. He was 15 years old at the time of Gilbert Hart's murder.
