Clarksville-area Woman Indicted for Stealing from Charity

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has indicted a Clarksville-area woman for allegedly stealing more than twenty-thousand-dollars from the Wounded Warrior Project Fund.

TBI special agents began their investigation into Christie Hill June 20^th at the request of 19^th District Attorney General John Carney. Investigators found Hill transferred the money to a personal account in July of 2011 and used the funds for personal living expenses.

The Montgomery County Grand Jury has charged Hill with one count of theft over $10,000. Hill has been released on $15,000 bond.
