Clarksville-area Woman Indicted for Stealing from Charity

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has indicted a Clarksville-area woman for allegedly stealing more than twenty-thousand-dollars from the Wounded Warrior Project Fund. 

TBI special agents began their investigation into Christie Hill June 20th at the request of 19th District Attorney General John Carney. Investigators found Hill transferred the money to a personal account in July of 2011 and used the funds for personal living expenses.

The Montgomery County Grand Jury has charged Hill with one count of theft over $10,000. Hill has been released on $15,000 bond.

A proud native of Murray, Kentucky, Allison grew up roaming the forests of western Kentucky and visiting national parks across the country. She graduated in 2014 from Murray State University where she studied Environmental Sustainability, Television Production, and Spanish.
