Princeton, Kentucky – A 21-month year old in Princeton is still recovering from second degree burns after he reportedly fell into a bathtub last Tuesday. Police have opened an investigation into the incident, which occurred while the mother's boyfriend was watching him. The boyfriend says he was running water into a bathtub when he heard a scream and saw that the toddler had fallen in. The child suffered second degree burns on 20 percent of his torso. The Princeton Times Leader reports the boy was transferred to the burn unit at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Authorities have not filed charges.
