Charlann Harting Carroll, wife of Kentucky Senate member Julian M. Carroll, unexpectedly passed away at 81 early Wednesday morning.
She became ill Monday and was transferred by ambulance to the Frankfort Regional Medical Center then by air to the University of Kentucky Medical Center, where she died.
Carroll is survived by her husband and three children.
Visitation and the funeral will be held Friday at the Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church in Midway, Kentucky.
