Carnegie at Calloway: A Conversation with Classical Guitarist Peter Fletcher

Peter Fletcher is a renowned classical guitarist. He's performed at many of the great classical music venues throughout the US, including numerous sold-out performances at Carnegie Hall. And, he'll be performing at Carnegie Hall again this April. He's a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, and has performed with and taken master classes with some of the great guitarists of our time. He performed this week at the Calloway County Public Library. You can listen to a full conversation with Fletcher, including a couple of in studio performances, above.

Gary Pitts is a music loving outdoorsman who coincidentally loves outdoor music. He is a student at Murray State pursuing a music minor to complement his history major. Gary is a member of the MSU Guitar Ensemble and greatly enjoys the Latin grooves he and the other ensemble members get throw down on. When he is not producing news, jamming on his guitar, or pursuing music history research, he is usually canoeing or biking somewhere in nature with his wife Siobian.
